History of Masjid Alrribat

Masjid AL-Rribat AL-Islami is an Islamic, charitable, non-profit organization that was established in 1405H/1985 A.D. We have and will continue to cooperate with other Islamic organizations to establish a firm foundation for the religion of Islam in the United States. We pride ourselves on being an organization that attempts to follow the Qur’an and Sunnah, and the way of the glorious and righteous early generations of Islam. Also, we respect the Islamic educational organizations, scholars, and activists in the Muslim world.

Goals

  • Calling others to the pure religion of Islam in light of the way of the noble prophets.
  • Preserving and defending the authentic Islamic beliefs, principles, and teachings.
  • Building mosques, institutions, and schools to help Muslims unite under the banner of Islam and respect their religion and noble heritage.
  • Concentrating on and building a generation of pious and able Muslim youth to carry the torch of Islam.
  • Organizing conferences and assemblies through which Muslim unity and dialogue can be realized.
  • Making books and publications available to the Muslim and non-Muslim populace.
  • Strengthening ties between Muslims in America and their brethren in the rest of the Muslim world.
  • Providing scholarly and financial help to empower beleaguered Muslims all around the globe.
  • Tools and Means

  • Qur’anic and Arabic school for children
  • Qur’anic and Arabic instruction for non-Arabic speaking women
  • Organizing and presenting lectures in the different colleges and universities.
  • Occasionally passing out pamphlets and brochures on Islam to non-Muslims in different public areas, such as parks, festivals, etc.
  • Communicating with and providing scholarly and financial help to different Muslim Student Associations (MSAs)
  • Holding a weekly introductory class on Islam to non-Muslims
